Focus Area - Special Projects
Projects which fall outside the three areas (Education, Environment & Economic Empowerment) form our Special Project focus area.

Successful CSR programs must foster local community participation to limit dependence and promote the concept of self-help development. In UBA Foundation, we believe in intervening and building capacity within the community to facilitate them in embarking on projects that act as a catalyst to social and economic development.

Some of the contributions and donations the Foundation makes to improve adverse living condition include;

1. The Soup Kitchen (UBA Employee Volunteer Scheme to assist the under-served in the community)
2. Donation of wheel chairs and computers to the Kogi State Family Advancement Programme for the Disabled
3. Refurbishment of LUTH’s Labour Ward exterior
4. Re-equipping of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital's Cardiac Centre
